For the last week, there's been a constant stream of Canada Geese flying overheard. They are so loud!

my daughter was complaining that we don't have any Halloween decorations so i let the kids each pick out a pumpkin...can you guess who picked which pumpkin?

Yuck!! woke up today and noticed that the snow plow people have been around to put their sticks in the ground

Rainy morning today! Is everyone getting sick of my morning walk with Buddy pictures yet? :) That seems to be what I do every morning...I can't get enough of the beautiful Fall colours

It was a beautiful morning so i decided to go for a bike ride (this is the same forest as yesterday's picture, notice the orange construction fence on the right where they started to clear cut trees). That's my lovely Slimer horn from the days when i work at McD's, over 20 years ago...can't believe i just admitted that! :)

Buddy made a new friend on our walk today. We ended up walking all the way around this pond through that beautiful forest with his new friend. Some of you may remember the forest from my pictures last year...it's supposed to be chopped down (and part of it now is) but local community groups have been successful in halting it for now

Buddy loves to lay on this carpet at my
in-law's condo. He often gets stepped on by my father-in-law because he's the exact same colour and texture...poor guy!

Morning Mystery.....
We keep finding new piles of dirt on our rock garden in the mornings and have no idea where it's coming from. We're assuming it's an animal (notice how Buddy is sniffing one of the piles) but we don't know what they're doing....i don't see any holes in the rock garden or my flower garden at the end of the path

I've never noticed this before but even the seeds on the maple trees change colour (i thought they just turned brown)
october 5th
today was "walk to school day" at the kids' school. They encourage the kids to walk/bike then when they get to school there's a firetruck, treats and a bunch of other stuff going on.
I was pretty proud of myself...when i took my camera out to take a picture, my daughter happened to bike by with her friend
october 4th
My son had soccer practice at school at 7:15am so we were up bright and early...not easy for me, i am not a morning person! The sun had just barely come up and there was a fog on the field. Luckily the rain stopped so the boys didn't get soaked

We love having toast with our oatmeal and we all have a different way of eating it. My son likes to spread the oatmeal all over the top then eat it
october 1st - A Month Of Mornings
this morning: My daughter helped me with my Mini sessions, it was so nice to have an extra set of hands! Here we are waiting for the first group to show up...it was so unbelievably cold (hence the mitts) but at least the rain held off and I didn't have to fight with the sun

Checking out a park that i want to do my upcoming mini sessions at. This was my favourite spot...it had a beautiful maple, a cool rock and a gate in the background

I wanted some flower pictures to hang in my laundry room so went with a friend to the Ornamental gardens. I ended up loving the pictures of the tree bark instead of flowers. :)

Peppers from our garden. Usually we're lucky if we get one or two but this year we got at least 20...woohoo!

My first attempt at cooking a whole chicken. I usually buy chicken breasts but the whole chickens were on sale super cheap that i thought i would give it a try. Delicious!
