November 11th
I joined my daughter's class at the Remembrance Day Ceremony in Kanata. We didn't have a very good spot so this is the only view I had.
November 8th in the evening
Our friend's father is a WWII veteran and he was kind enough to go to my son's Cub troop and talk a bit about the war.
November 8th in the morning
My daughter's class got to watch the Ottawa Senator's at a practice. We had amazing seats right behind the glass behind the goalie. The kids would scream and duck every time a puck hit the glass...lots of fun!

November 6th
A shot at the location I found yesterday. It was a cold morning but this family was so much fun and we got lots of amazing shots. One of my favourite shoots so far
November 5th
Trying to find a location for my photo shoot tomorrow. I found this awesome park that still had some leaves left on the trees as well as a great bridge, lake, river and a really cool drainage ditch that had graffiti on the wall.
November 4th
I love reading with the kids at night and am happy that my daughter still wants to read with me. Right now we're reading "The Last Olympian" by Rick Riordan
November 3rd
bookclub time again. This time we read the book "Sweetness at the bottom of the pie". My favourite part of bookclub is all the yummy treats

October 31st
One of the few pictures that I got this Halloween....it was so cold and nasty out! I made the kids quickly put their costumes on for a picture in the afternoon. When they went out trick or treating that evening they actually had winter coats, hats and mitts on (we got a bunch of snow the previous day).
I like looking at the picture because my daughter is wearing my grade 8 graduation dress...it's nice to see it again! It fits her pretty well with a turtleneck underneath

it's been so dark in the mornings when we get up. This was the view from my back windows as we were heading out of the house to go to the bus stop

October 27th
I love watching these guys play...it makes all the walking and cleaning up dog poop worth while!
October 25th
It was a super cold day for a soccer tournament but my daughter's school team came in second place. I've never seen girls play with hats and mitts on before. They were so cold that we huddled in my van between games.
October 24th
I'm so excited that I finally found a cordless remote that works with my camera. You're going to be seeing a lot more of my face on here! :)
October 22nd
Hooray, the boys are gone! We dropped the guys off to catch a bus for camp and then we had a blast having a girls weekend. We ate lots of ice cream and popcorn, watched movies and went shopping.
