My son made up a new sandwich....it's a cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry jam and salami (he also had red peppers on it but put so much jam that they slid out :)). He's been eating this all week and says it's delicious!

a group of actors called "the fools" put on a shakespeare play every night at parks around the city. Right now they're doing "A Mid Summer Night's Dream". They were so good and the kids thought they were hilarious!

Our air conditioner died during a heatwave so i told the kids to camp out in the basement for the night...they loved it and want to do it every night! :)

evil squirrel....
I was at a photo shoot trying to take pictures of a cute family but there were squirrels everywhere and they were very bold. This one was giving me the creeps when I was trying to take a picture. Look at that red eye!!

FINALLY!
My daughter has been wanting an i-pod touch for a long time so we told her we would give her some money for her birthday and she would have to earn the rest. She sold a bunch of her toys and saved up enough....she was so excited!

My daughter turned 11 today....I don't know where the time went, it feels like she was just a baby yesterday!
Not the greatest picture but I love that she's being nice to her brother. She really liked the tie dye kit he gave her (stay tuned for future pictures of us using it...if I can figure it out :))

june 26th
The two of us went away for the weekend to celebrate our 13th anniversary. We went to an adorable little town in the Laurentian mountains in Quebec named Saint Sauveur. Here we are hiking (lots of bugs so this is the only shot I got :))
